First Annual Father's Day Camping Trip

We braved the elements this weekend to enjoy an overnight camping trip to the Volcano National Park area and celebrate father's day.  It was such a special way to celebrate our favorite daddy and spend lots of time together without much to do!

Lance surprised us by knocking out for a nap cozied up in his sleeping bag, right out in the middle of our campsite.  He was so snug in there he did not want to wake up!

The best part of the campground was the circular drive around the campsites.  A friend told us to bring wheels, so Lance and Kiran were able to scoot, trike, and walker around and around.

After the sun went down, the temperature dropped into the 50s and Stef and I lasted about 30 minutes until we decided we'd be better off in the tent too!  No better excuse to go to bed at 8:00.

We woke up on father's day morning on our deflated air mattress and had some awesome cuddle time with the boys.

Then it was time for more wheels and, of course, breaking down the campsite.

Camping was a perfect way to celebrate and appreciate Stef by doing something that he grew up doing with his dad.  Can't wait to go back!

Noodle Unibrow

forget the noodle mustache, these days it's all about the noodle unibrow...

Teeth (An Update)

Definitely the most unique teething pattern I have seen on a little one... his new nick name is "jack-o-lantern."

"What???"

Mu-ah!

Kiran is really getting into kisses of all kinds... on the lips, in the air, over the phone, etc.  He's especially into the "mu-ah!" aspect of smooching and had the good fortune of making a dear friend's day by giving her phone kiss after phone kiss.  The only bummer was that she couldn't see it herself, so I shot these pics to prove just how loving the whole event was.  Oh, KK, you have officially stolen my heart.

The Big 4-0.

Happy Birthday to our favorite forty year old in the whole wide world.
